5 Things To Try This Weekend

1. Throw an impromptu dessert party! Tired of the same place you and your friends visit every Friday night? Stay home this weekend and have everybody bring their favorite dessert over for a casual night in. This is a great way to change up your normal weekend routine and reward yourself after a hectic week. It is the weekend after all, right?

2. Try a fabulous DIY craft. These are actually cheaper than you think, and an awesome alternative to expensive fashion jewelry.

3. Check out a yard sale or estate sale! Yeah, a lot of our grandparents probably drug us out on many early Saturday mornings as kids, but this is actually a lot more fun now! It is true, one fashionista's junk is another fashionista's treasure! You'll be surprised at the cool vintage clothes and furniture you can find.

4. Yes we are celebrating the weekend, but this idea is to help your next week go more smoothly. On Sunday evening, pick out your outfits for the next five days. Have them ready with accessories and shoes so when it is time to wake up, you don't have to worry about what you're going to wear! This simple step will be one less stressor to worry about, and you can enjoy the week almost as much as the weekend.

5. Try a new look. The weekend is a perfect time to try that new make up or hair style you've been obsessing over. Play it up and get creative!
